Fisherville Farms is a 1,130-acre mixed-use, master planned community prominently situated off I-269 and Macon Road. The majority of the property is located in the Northeast quadrant of the intersection and lies within Fayette County, Tennessee, while the remaining portion is strategically set in the intersection's Northwest quadrant, which is located in Shelby County, Tennessee. This integrated, mixed-used community will be organized in a way that forms individual village hamlets that are each buffered by rolling open space and treed lands, but conveniently linked with one another by a carefully tailored network of trails, walkways and pedestrian friendly streets. Commercial, office, residential and civic uses will each be carefully positioned and highly integrated. A wide variety of housing types is anticipated and will be seamlessly embedded within each village to ensure a pleasant walk for residents to jobs, services, education and other convenient amenities within the community. Careful research and planning have been done to preserve environmental assets and sensitive areas. Preservation of open space, rural stewardship, light imprint infrastructure, organic farming and other important principles and practices of environmental sustainability will be implemented once development begins. Evangelical Christian School (ECS) purchased Fisherville Farms’ first site and plans to build an extensive school complex in the years to come.
