- Overview -
Boyle is also well-known for its pioneering
of major residential areas throughout Memphis dating as far
back as the late 1930s. Some of Boyle's early residential
developments in midtown are still considered classics.
River
Oaks, one of Memphis' premier neighborhoods, was started
in the mid 1960s and has continued to grow in both size
and popularity.
Over the past two decades, Boyle's residential community
planning and development has dominated the region in a variety
of price ranges. The Cloisters of River Oaks, Bedford Plantation,
Riveredge (The Gardens, The Bluffs, The Grove), Blue Heron,
Green Shadows, LeFleur, and Chapel Creek are some of Boyle's
most recent developments.
