Les Binkley

Senior Vice President

Responsibilities:As Vice President, Binkley handles all aspects of real estate development.  Along with overseeing the day-to-day activities that pertain to Boyle's mixed-use developments, as well as the company's recent foray back into multi-family development, Binkley explores potential property acquisitions for future Boyle projects.  Binkley also is responsible for ensuring that Boyle stays in-tune with current development and sustainability practices.

Professional Record:Prior to joining Boyle in July 2007, Binkley worked in the commercial real estate sales and leasing sector with CB Richard Ellis initially in Memphis, TN and then in Portland, OR. Since beginning at Boyle, Binkley has shifted his focus to development for which he collaborates with Executive Vice President Rusty Bloodworth on all phases of the development process. He has been involved in the execution of such projects as Schilling Farms, including The Carrington at Schilling Farms, Carrington West, The Water Tower District shops and residences, as well as Price Farms, Ridgeway Center, Germantown Village Square, Town Center at Berry Farms, and Fishersville Farms. Binkley’s lead acquisition of Shepherd’s Creek in Collierville in partnership with Crews Development, Viridian of Germantown, and Forest Hill Heights in Germantown. In 2018, Binkley spearheaded the creation of the Poplar Corridor Business District TIF which aims to enhance the public realm in the coveted business district. He serves as President of the Poplar Corridor Business District Association of Owners, which oversees management of the TIF District. In 2022, Binkley was promoted to Senior Vice President.

Education:Binkley has an undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and a graduate certificate in real estate development from Portland State University. Binkley is a LEED AP and accredited by the Congress for the New Urbanism.

Professional Affiliations:Binkley is a member of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors (MAAR) Commercial Council, for which he served as a Board Member as well as President in 2018. He also is a member of the Urban Land Institute/Memphis Chapter, where he sits on the management committee and previously served as the Chair for Mission Advancement. He was inducted into LAI Land Economics Society in 2019.

Water Tower District

The Water Tower District in Collierville, Tennessee is a 50-acre mixed-use development in the northwest corner of Schilling Farms. Phase one of construction has started and will include 28 residential buildings, 40,000 retail square feet, and 50,000 office square feet for IMC Companies corporate headquarters.
