Boyle Named Land Conservationist of the Year

Dan Hammond, Chairman of the Board, Tennessee Wildlife Federation, presents Jeff Haynes, Managing Partner of Boyle Nashville, LLC, with the 2011 Land Conservationist of the Year award in recognition Boyle’s donation of 290 acres of land to the Wolf River Conservancy in Memphis.

Boyle Investment Company was honored as the 2011 Land Conservationist of the Year by the Tennessee Wildlife Federation for the donation of a 290-acre tract of land to the Wolf River Conservancy.  Jeff Haynes, Managing Partner of Boyle Nashville, LLC, received the award for Boyle at the 46th Annual Conservation Achievement Awards on April 19.  The donated tract includes a largely intact old-growth forest, numerous wetlands, and cypress-lined old river courses and will be opened as a public natural area along the Wolf River in Memphis.  “These awards recognize those organizations that have made truly meaningful contributions to conservation in Tennessee and to TWF,” said Michael Butler, TWF’s CEO.
