Diners are enjoying the third restaurant owned by Chef Ryan Trimm, who owns Sweet Grass and Next Door in Cooper Young. Trimm’s Southward Fare & Libations at Regalia is open for dinner and weekend brunch and offers a lively bar, an upstairs room for private parties, and a shared patio. The menu is defined by Trimm’s take on Southern staples such as fried chicken, collard greens, okra, and catfish.
“At Southward, we are devoted to all things Southern, and this means local ingredients, full flavors, and a comfort you can not only feel, but taste,” says Trimm. “The ambiance is warm and inviting with rough-hewn wainscoting and a farm table that seats 14.
