Allen Morgan, Jr., is Chairman of Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc., Memphis’ largest investment securities brokerage firm. Morgan Keegan is the anchor tenant for a new 150,000-square-foot corporate office building that Boyle Investment Company is developing in Ridgeway Center. When the building is complete at the end of 2000, Morgan Keegan will occupy approximately 50,000 square feet of space, and will utilize the new facility to consolidate a number of departments and divisions currently located elsewhere in the East Memphis area.

Why did Morgan Keegan select Ridgeway Center for the company’s new office space in East Memphis, and what divisions of the company will be located in the new building?

Morgan:

We will consolidate four operations that are located out East: Athletic Resource Management, our Private Client East Memphis office, our Fixed Income East Memphis office, and Weibel Huffman Keegan. The Morgan Keegan building also will house a new operations facility for the Morgan Keegan Trust Company subsidiary. Ridgeway Center provides our employees with direct access to the Poplar corridor, I-240 interchange, and shopping centers, restaurants, and banks. Ridgeway Center is unusual in that it lies in the heart of the busy East Memphis business district, yet also provides a well-planned, self-contained community.
