Halperin Honored With Realtors® Commercial Alliance National Award

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The REALTORS® Commercial Alliance – the commercial division of the National Association of RELATORS® – has recognized Mark Halperin of Boyle Investment Co. as a recipient of the 2008 REALTORS® Commercial Alliance National Award.

The National Award recognizes a select group of Commercial REALTORS® for their outstanding professional achievements that have been previously acknowledged on a local level. The Memphis Area Association of REALTORS® Commercial Council nominated Halperin for the National Award for his accomplishments in 2007, which the Council recognized earlier this year by naming him Commercial Broker of the Year.

“Mark has been an outstanding member of the Memphis commercial real estate community for years,” said Steve Guinn, president of the MAAR Commercial Council. “We are thrilled that his accomplishments are being recognized on a national level. He is truly deserving of this great honor.”

As executive vice president of Boyle Investment Co., Halperin focuses on both multi-tenant and single-purpose office properties and currently oversees the leasing and management of more than 2 million square feet of full-service class “A” office space. Halperin joined Boyle in 1973 and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he studied accounting and real estate. He is active in a number of organizations throughout Memphis and is a past chairman of the Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce Developers Council and past president of the Board of the Memphis Jewish Home, where he continues to serve on the Executive Committee. A past president of Temple Israel Memphis, Halperin is currently serving on the Board of Trustees of the Union of Reform Judaism and on the Board of Trustees of Memphis University School.

Members include commercial developers, commercial brokers and affiliate brokers, property managers, and other commercial real estate-related professionals.
