Overview: Rapid Development in Germantown and Collierville

– The Memphis Business Journal –

Russell Bloodworth, executive vice president of Boyle Investment Co., works with several of Boyle’s residential neighborhoods in both communities, but has more ongoing subdivisions in Germantown now than Collierville.

"Both areas are still very hot and they have been hot for some time," Bloodworth says. "Most of Germantown is fully developed; there are a few remaining areas, but not very many. Those few remaining tracts are now being developed. Once this current round of development is completed, Germantown will be close to completion.

"Collierville is still under rapid development and I see it as what Germantown was 10 to 15 years ago," Bloodworth says. "It has really accelerated over the last two to three years. Most of the area on the north side of Poplar is fairly well developed; the southern side of Collierville is just beginning to really start development."

Boyle also is working with Thomas & Betts in a development capacity for Thomas & Betts’ new headquarters at Southwind.
