Customized Industrial Real Estate

Activity in the Memphis industrial market is brisk and Boyle is involved with a number of projects under construction, according to Joel Fulmer, vice president of commercial and industrial real estate for Boyle.

"One of Boyle’s more unusual projects is the Johns Creek Business Center on the west side of Mendenhall north of Raines Road, " says Fulmer.

"Reminiscent of an 18th century loft, the building’s design incorporates classical architectural themes that have been modified for practical use." With two-story glass windows at each end of the building, the project provides an excellent office environment while maintaining the functional qualities required for distribution. The building is 80 percent complete.

Boyle is project manager for the development of a 117,600-square-foot multiple occupancy warehouse building in South Perkins Industrial Park. Boyle provided both development services and construction management and will lease and manage the building for the Acee Company. It is currently available for occupancy.

Construction is 50 percent complete on a new 100,000-square-foot headquarters building for National Guard Products. The building is located in southeast Memphis at Raines Road and Outland.

A 30,000-square-foot headquarters building for SG Industries also is under construction and 50 percent complete. The building is located on Macon Road east of Cordova.

Other activity includes the recent purchase of a 535,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Byhalia, Mississippi. Boyle has executed a lease agreement with Hunter Fan Company, which will consolidate its national distribution operations to this location.
