Thomas & Betts Selects Boyle To Develop New Corporate Headquarters
"Since we made the decision to remain in Shelby County earlier this year, we have put a great deal of time and effort into the selection of the property and the company who will develop that property." says Kevin Dunnigan, T&B chairman and chief executive officer. "We believe that Boyle, with its fine reputation and history of development of major office complexes, will deliver exactly what we want."
Mark Halperin, senior vice president of office properties for Boyle, handled the leasing of the office space, and Russell Bloodworth, executive vice president, will coordinate the development of the 45-acre site.
Phase one of the T&B facility will include a 227,000-square-foot, four-story office building, with plans to build additional office buildings on the property, bringing the total office space to 650,000 square feet. The Hnedak Bobo Group of Memphis developed the master plan and conceptual design for the new building. T&B will lease the office space from Boyle, who will be the building’s owner. T&B is expected to move into the facility by fall of 1997.
Boyle also has an 89-acre site available for corporations wishing to locate directly on the golf course.
