It’s not everyday that an office park has trick or treaters.

But that’s just what happened Monday, Oct. 31 at Boyle Investment Co.’s Moriah Woods Office Park at Mt. Moriah and Willow roads in East Memphis.

Clients of The Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee, which assists the developmentally challenged, trick or treated at 15 businesses throughout the park. Valenti handed out Wendy’s Coupons and Entercom Radio gave away items with radio station logos while other tenants presented candy.

This first annual trick-or-treating event for the participants of The Exceptional Foundation of West Tennessee is just one of many programs this non-profit offers to meet the social and recreational needs of the developmentally challenged in the greater Memphis area.

The Exceptional Foundation provides daily programs for their participants, giving them opportunities to develop social skills, meet new friends and find a place where they “fit in.” This enables them to achieve normalized social development and greater self-confidence.
