Williamson County Has Lowest Jobless Rate

Williamson has lowest jobless rate at 5.6%;

Davidson County registers 7% unemployed for February

County uenmployment rates brightened in a number of Middle Tennessee counties in February, according to data released minutes ago by the state Department of Labor and Workforce Devleopment.

Williamson County continues to have the lowest jobless rate in Tennessee with a rate of 5.6 percent unemployed in February. Davidson County isn’t far behind with a jobless rate of 7 percent for the same month.

Other selected county rates include:

Knox County, 6.1 percent; Lincoln, 6.5 percent; Loudon, 6.7 percent; Washington, 6.9 percent; Wilson, 7 percent; Rutherford, 7.1 percent; Robertson, 7.4 percent; and Sumner, 7.5 percent.
