Joel Fulmer

Senior Vice President

Responsibilities:As Senior Vice President, Fulmer is in charge of the leasing and management of Boyle's industrial properties, including both company owned and third party properties. He also provides brokerage, appraisal and consulting services to a wide range of institutional and individual clients.

Professional Record:Since joining Boyle in 1973, Fulmer has made a significant mark on the company. He currently leases and manages warehouse, retail and office properties. He has developed sixteen projects including commercial, office, industrial, and office/showroom properties. Past projects include 217,000 square feet of speculative warehouse space and headquarters facilities totaling 220,000 square feet for Cargill Cotton Company, National Guard Products, and S/G Industries. Fulmer also leased 500,000 square feet to Hunter Fan Company and expanded it to 1,000,000 square feet, resulting in a sale of the project to First Industrial Realty Trust.  He was listing broker for the sale of the 4,000,000 SF Memphis Depot Business Park.

Education:Fulmer received his undergraduate degree in political science from Washington and Lee University.

Professional Affiliations:Fulmer has served as the president of the Memphis chapter of organizations such as the Appraisal Institute, the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He is a past Trustee of the Education Foundation of the Memphis Area Association of Realtors and a past president of both the Commercial Council of MAAR and of the Memphis Chapter of Lambda Alpha, an honorary national land economics organization.

Civic and Community Involvement:Fulmer is currently a Director of Agricenter International and chairs the property committee.

Honors and Awards:Fulmer has earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, the CCIM designation from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute, and the SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He also holds the CRE designation from the Counselors of Real Estate and is the first real estate professional to have achieved all four designations. In 1995, the Memphis Area Association of Realtors awarded him the honor of Realtor Associate of The Year.
